How do I declare my swimmer’s availability for an A meet?
All families, not on pre-team, must declare their swimmer’s availability through SwimTopia for every A meet of the season! Swimmer availability must be declared no later than 9:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the A meet. Please declare your swimmer even if you don’t think they would participate in an A Meet.
A Meets earn points for our team and determine our division placement in the entire Montgomery County Swim League. Our coaches select swimmers for all A meets based on swimmer availability and seed times. They will communicate who will swim in each A meet on Thursday. The line-up will then be formally exchanged with opposing team by noon on Friday.
If you know your swimmer's availability for the remainder of the season’s A Meets, please declare for those now! Here’s how:
Log into your SwimTopia account via our website or use the SwimTopia mobile app. Once logged in, click on Schedule and then All Meets and Events, or simply visit https://lakemarionlasers.swimtopia.com/swim_meets
- Click on MEET ENTRY next to the specific A meet you wish to declare for (i.e. Week 3A HOME vs. NORTH CREEK).
- Select Edit next to the swimmer’s name.
- From the drop down, select Available For This Meet or Not Available For This Meet.
- Click Save.
