B Relays, North Creek Long Course, Manchester Farms Mini Meet
Good Afternoon Swimmers and Parents/Guardians,
Meet entries are now open for B Relays, North Creek Long Course and the Manchester Farms Mini Meet. Please read below for information about each meet and remember to check our website for additional information. When signing up for these meets remember you should be selecting a volunteer position. If we don't have enough volunteers, Lake Marion will not participate in these meets.
What: 2018 B Relays
When: Thursday, July 12th at Lake Marion. Warmups at 5 PM, meet begins at 6PM
Who: All LM Swimmers that have swam in an A or B meet this year. If you swam in more than one event at A Relays, you are not eligible to participate in B Relays.
Deadline: Swimmers must declare their availability to participate in this meet, no later than Sunday, July 8th by Noon.
What: North Creek Long Course Invitational
When: Sunday, July 15th at North Creek pool. Warm Ups are at 7:30 AM & Meet begins at 8:15 AM.
Who: All LM swimmers who have not made MCSL Coaches LC. Swimmers who are named alternates for Coaches LC can swim other strokes at the NC Invitational.
Cost: $3.50 for individual events and $12 for relays
Deadline: Wednesday, July 11th at 6pm.
How: Sign up for the events of your choice through SwimTopia. Make checks payable to LMST & provide to Mekeba or Lesley.
What: Manchester Farm Mini Meet 2018
When: Sunday, July 15, at the Manchester Farm Pool in Germantown. Warm-up time is 8:30 AM and the meet begins at 9 AM.
Who: Swimmers ages 9 and under. Events include kickboard, freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. In water helpers will assist swimmers as needed.
Cost: $12 entry fee with a maximum of 4 events per swimmer. All swimmers receive an official Mini Meet drawstring bag. Ribbons will be given for 1st through 12th place, with participant ribbons for those who do not place.
Deadline: Register online by Monday, July 9th, and bring payment to practice by Wednesday, July 11th.You may pay with cash or check (payable to Lake Marion Lasers swim team) and give to Amanda or Fran.

Volunteers: The team will need to provide several volunteers to help with each of these meets, including timers, a stroke and turn official, a ribbon writer, parking attendants (for B Relays) and concessions help (for B Relays). When you register your swimmers for any of these meets, please sign up for a volunteer job. If we don’t have enough volunteers we cannot run or participate in meets.
