Good Morning Lasers,

Entries for All-Comers meet on Saturday, June 8^th have been submitted. Families are able to login to their SwimTopia account and see what events their swimmer(s) are signed-up to swim on Saturday by clicking here and selecting Meet Entries for All-Comers 2019.

Anyone that did not sign-up via SwimTopia but still wishes to swim in the meet, will need to register for the meet at the MVF office located at 10120 Apple Ridge Road by 5:00 PM today. The late entry fee is $3.00/event. If you did not sign-up to swim in this meet, don’t worry there will be more opportunities for your swimmer(s) to swim in a meet this season. General information about our swim meets, please refer to our Team Handbook, sections titled Seeding “A” Meets and Eligibility for “B” Meets located on our website at the following link: Swim Meet Information. Information about specific meets will be shared via E-mail or feel free to ask a parent/committee member on the pool deck.

Meet Volunteers

We are still in need of volunteers for this meet. If you have a swimmer participating in this meet, please signup to help.You can get to the meet volunteers page by going to the Schedules tab and then selecting All Meets and Events or by clicking on the following: (Meet Jobs Sign-up).

Friday Pasta Dinner

Friday, June 8th in the Lake Marion Community Center. This is open to the entire team not just those swimming on Saturday.We hold these dinners each Friday after practice. Please bring your dishes no later than 6:15 PM. The lines for dinner will open at 6:30 PM, or as soon as the coaches dismiss the last practice group. Please log into your SwimTopia account and select Pasta Dinner RSVP and then select the item you wish to bring from the list or click here . We will also need help with setup (5:30 PM) and cleanup, so please signup to help with one of those two jobs as well.

Parking for Saturday Morning

Most of the parking in the Lake Marion Lot will be by pass only (for the visiting teams and meet officials). Lake Marion Lasers will need to either walk to the pool or park in designated areas as directed by the parking attendants. Please plan to have swimmers at the pool with enough time for them to be ready to jump into the pool for warmups at 7:15 AM.

Team Area

Lake Marion’s team area will be from the grassy picnic area next to the shed around to the diving boards.Swimmers are not allowed on the diving boards at any time during the swim meet. Swimmers should remain in the team area so the coaches and volunteers know where to find them when it’s time for their event.

Meet Programs

Meet programs will not be sent out via E-mail. MVF will be selling programs for $1.00 so if you would like a copy, please look for the parent on deck that will be selling them (exact change is appreciated).
