Hydration for Divisional’s Starts today

    Good Morning Lasers,

    Just a quick note for athletes. We are already getting warnings about the heat index for this Saturday so swimmer must stay hydrated if you want to swim well. Hydration for Saturday needs to start today. Swimmers should be consuming half their body weight in ounces in order get the proper amount of fluids in their system. Stay away from sugary drinks and carbonated beverages. Water is the best thing they can be drinking today, tomorrow and Saturday. 

    While at the meet they should continue to drink water and some Gatorade after each race is a good idea.
