Pre-Team Evaluations/ CIT Interest

We are looking to have pre-team evaluations on June 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th. Each day has three different time frames your pre-teamer can sign up for. Please reference the sign up genius below. Pick and date and time.

CIT Interest

We are excited to offer the opportunity for some of our older swimmers to be CITs (Coaches in Training) this summer! CITs will:

Assist pre-team coaches in Conducting morning practices from 9:30 AM - 10:15 AM and afternoon pre-team practices from 5:30 - 6:15 PM per attached coaching schedule. The pre-team coach will direct the CITs for all practices and meets.
Assist at pre-team meets and events when available.
Follow the pool rules for swim teams that will be issued before the start of the season.
Discuss any and all problems encountered in dealing with swimmers, parents or other Coaches with one of the Team Reps directly.
Discuss any absences or conflicts in advance with one of the Team Reps directly.
Be reliable and punctual at all AM and PM pre-team practices.
Demonstrate and encourage fair play and good sportsmanship.
Maintain discretion and confidentiality.

CITs must be 12 years of age or older and be able to stand comfortably in the lanes. If you are interested in applying, please complete this form by June 4, 2023. (Would love for the form to include a question at the end that asks them to write a few sentences about why they want to do this - like a statement of interest or why they should be selected). Previous CITs should also let Alison Torres know if they are available to help at the pre-team evaluations from June 6-9 from 6:30 to 7:15 PM.
