Hello Lasers!

We are excited for our first A meet on Saturday morning at Lakelands. The address of the pool is 960 Main St Gaithersburg, MD 20878 (behind the clubhouse). The theme is TROPICAL! Come dressed in your tropical finest to show your team spirit! If your swimmer needs to borrow some spirit wear, they can see Coach Andrew when they arrive.

Please meet by the gate at 8 AM so we can walk in together as a team. Be sure to have your swimmer check in with their assigned coach so we know everyone is accounted for.

• 15-18 & 13-14: Rachel Sharp
• 11-12,9-10 & 8 and under: Rachel Johnson

Our warm-ups will be from 8:25 - 8:45 AM so swimmers need to be ready to get in the water at 8:25 AM sharp!

Please do not leave the meet on Saturday unless your swimmer has checked out with the coaches (unless you have already let them know you have to leave early). The relay participant list in the lineup is tentative. Swimmers should be prepared to swim through the last event of the meet. Swimmers need to check out with one of the coaches prior to changing.

If you have a swimmer in the meet and haven’t signed up for a job yet, please do so! We still need a few second half timers and a scorer, a fun job at the automation table!

Our team lunch will be at the Chipotle in the Kentlands at the conclusion of the meet. The address is 96 Main St, Gaithersburg, MD 20878. Once the meet has concluded, head on over and order your food. You may even want to order online on the way! The coaching staff will hand out ribbons to everyone who swam that day. We are also excited to see who wins the spirit awards at the team luncheon!

Information from Lakelands

PARKING:

Street parking is available all around the pool and clubhouse area.

Lakelands Park Middle School also has a parking lot located two blocks from the pool.

TEAM AREA:

Your team area is located by the start end of the recreation pool area (straight back as you walk through the gate).

There is some shade and plenty of lounge chairs, but you are welcome to bring tents and chairs.

Concessions: We will have a concession table with breakfast items and snacks for cash purchase.
