Happy Friday Laser Family!

We hope to see you in the community room around 6:30 PM tonight for our weekly pasta dinner. Be sure to sign up to bring a dish in Swimtopia!  As a reminder, pasta dinner happens rain or shine.  

Tomorrow morning’s meet is AWAY at Montgomery Square Copenhaver Swim Club located at 12300 Falls Road, Potomac, MD, 20854. Parking is available in their pool lot.

The theme is Maryland! Come dressed in your Maryland attire to show your team spirit. Our warm up begins promptly at 8:25 AM so please arrive no later than 8:10 AM so swimmers have time to check in with their age level coach and be in the pool on time.

• 15-18 & 13-14: Rachel Sharp
• 11-12, 9-10 & 8 and under: Rachel Johnson

Our team area is on the sports court behind the diving boards. Please bring your shelters to provide shade for our swimmers. Remember to stay in the team area and be ready to report to the clerks of course (Ms. Najarro and Ms. Goldsby) prior to your events!

Montgomery Square will have a concession stand available offering coffee, water, Gatorade, sodas, bagels, doughnuts, and a few other snacks. Their concession stand accepts cash and Venmo. They ask that our volunteers bring a refillable water bottle to use during the meet. They will not be passing out small bottles of water on deck. Their water fountain has a bottle filling station. Ashley has volunteered to fill water bottles for our timers and officials as needed!

I will send the meet program later today. Print out a family copy and/or review it with your swimmers so they know the events/heats/lanes they are in.

Please do not leave the meet on Saturday unless your swimmer has checked out with the coaches (unless you have already let them know you have to leave early). The relay participant list in the lineup is tentative. Swimmers should be prepared to swim through the last event of the meet and need to check out with one of the coaches prior to changing.

Volunteers, please check in with our volunteer coordinator, Tanya Hunter, when you arrive - no later than 8:30 AM - on Saturday morning. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Our team lunch after the meet will be at Moe’s Southwest Grill at 19222 Montgomery Village Avenue. We called ahead to let them know we are coming! You can order once you arrive or order online on your way. At lunch, the coaching staff will hand out ribbons and we will find out who will be awarded the Saturday spirit awards. We hope you can join us!
