Meet us at the start of the parade area (Apple Ridge RD and Montgomery Village Ave) by 9:30 AM on July 4th! More info can be found on the MVF website by clicking HERE. Build in extra time to find parking at North Creek pool lot and walk to the parade area (Apple Ridge will close to traffic at 9:30 AM). Parade starts at 10 AM.

Be sure to stay for the celebration at Apple Ridge! It starts with some great live music! During a short break, the MVF Board President will officially open the event and announce parade contest winners (fingers crossed!). At the event there will be lots of fun activities for the Montgomery Village community, including: a concert; free games, rides, petting zoo and pony rides; and festival food.

2. Wearing your best Olympic Team USA gear

Come dressed in your best Olympic Team USA uniforms! That can be red, white, and blue (patriotic clothing) or dress like your favorite summer Olympic sport - swimming is an OBVIOUS choice but so is basketball, baseball/softball, gymnastics, wrestling, etc.

If you don’t have any of that, just come in your Lake Marion team spirit-wear and have fun with the team during the parade

3. How to help paint the float on Sunday, June 30th

Want to help paint the float??? Come dressed for painting this Sunday (June 30th) from 5:00 - 6:00 PM at the Nguyen's house (19300 Cypress Hill Way). This is an outdoors-only event (no access to the house) and all attendees are helping with the float. (Rain date is Monday, July 1st from 3:30 - 4:30 PM if needed.)
