Hello Laser Families!

Tomorrow, July 3, we are AWAY at Quail Valley for our B meet! Remember to wear your Red, White and Blue gear! We’ll be looking for new family, boy, and girl spirit award winners!

Please note: B meet deck entries can only be accepted by Ashley, Angie, Coach Nick or Coach Rachel. Please do not ask timers, clerk of course or automation to add swimmers to events. Thank you!

Pool Address: 18701 Quail Valley Blvd, Gaithersburg, MD 20879

Volunteers: Thank you to everyone who already signed up to volunteer, including many who don’t have any swimmers in the meet! Please check-in with Tanya Hunter near the pavilion when you arrive so we know you’re at the pool and ready to help. 🙂

Officials Meeting is at 5:15 by the Starter, and the Timer meeting is at 5:30 in the Community Center.

From Quail Valley: We will have large orange coolers of water for volunteers to fill water bottles from. If possible, please ask volunteers to bring their own water bottles so we don’t waste so many plastic cups! Thanks!

Warm-Ups: Please arrive by 5:00, so you have plenty of time to be in the water for warm ups at 5:20 PM.

Parking: Their parking lot has space for a large number of cars but if there is not enough room to park, please park along Quail Valley Blvd.

Team Area: Our team area is to the right when you enter the pool deck in the picnic area. Some of the tables have umbrellas but we can extra canopies for your team if we’d like

Concessions: QV will have burgers, dogs and fries from the Quail Valley Grill and other yummy options in our concessions area. They will be accepting cash, Venmo and credit card payments. They will provide refreshments for officials and timers at the half.

In tradition, Pancake breakfast will be served tomorrow morning. Please remember to bring/send a donation to support the purchase of the food. A friendly reminder to put trash in the trash can by the pancake breakfast tables ONLY. 

Finally, be sure to declare your swimmer’s eligibility for this Saturday’s Home A meet vs Auora Hills by tomorrow at 12 PM.
