Hello Laser Families!

Tomorrow, July 10, we are AWAY at Plantations for our B meet! Remember to wear your Tie Dye gear! We can’t wait to choose our next boy, girl, and family spirit award winners! We will email a program once we receive it from Plantations.

Please note: B meet deck entries can only be accepted by Ashley, Angie, Coach Nick or Coach Rachel. Please do not ask timers, clerk of course or automation to add swimmers to events. Thank you!

Warm-ups and Meet Timeline: Please arrive at the pool at 5:05 to be ready for our warm-up time at 5:25. Thank you to everyone who already signed up to volunteer!!! Please make sure you review the timeline for the meet below. We also ask that you please check-in with Tanya Hunter when you arrive so we know you’re at the pool and ready to help. 🙂

Warm-ups:

A. Plantations Warm-up will begin at 5:10pm

B. Lake Marion Warm-up will begin at 5:25pm

C. Officials meetings will be held at 5:30pm

E. Scratch meeting will be held at clerk of course at 5:40pm

F. Meet will begin promptly at 6pm

Parking: From Plantations: “Our lot has space for a large number of cars, but if there is not enough room to park, please park along the road adjacent to the pool. The pool closes at 5pm so it is best if you arrive a little after 5pm to allow the patrons to clear out. We will start set up at 4:45pm.”

Team Area: From Plantations: “Part of your team area will extend around the baby pool fence to allow for spacing of your swimmers. We ask the swimmers to please refrain from wading in the baby pool. Our pool deck has almost no shade, so recommend the team bring pop-up tents if you have them.”

Concessions: Plantations will be providing full concessions, including burgers and hot dogs. They accept Cash and Venmo.

In tradition, Pancake breakfast will be served tomorrow morning. Please remember to bring/send a donation to support the purchase of the food. Please don’t put trash in the trash cans that are upside down. This causes extra clean-up work. 

Finally, be sure to declare your swimmer’s eligibility for this Saturday’s Away A meet vs Longbranch by tomorrow at 12 PM as well as for the Divisional Meet on July 20! We must know swimmer’s availability for both meets ASAP as we must seed/make the Divisionals meet on Sunday, not on Wednesday as with the other Saturday meets.
