Long Course Meet

Chase Keeler represented Lake Marion in the MCSL Coaches Invitational Long Course Meet on Tuesday evening. The top 8 swimmers in each event are invited to swim in this exciting meet. He was seeded 8th in the 200 M backstroke event and he placed 4th with a time of 2:10.15! Congratulations to Chase on his amazing swim!

A longtime Lake Marion Laser, Bob Hincke, was inducted into the MCSL Hall of Fame that evening as well. Bob served on the Lake Marion swim committee for years as well as on the MCSL board. Congratulations to Bob for his tireless commitment to our team and MCSL!

Lasermania

We will have Lasermania tomorrow morning! Don’t miss out on this annual Laser tradition of fun and games! As a reminder, all swimmers, including those who practice in the afternoon, are welcome to join in! To maximize the fun, Lasermania will be from 8 - 10 AM for ALL regular and developmental team members (10 & under and 11 & up) and 9:30 - 10:15 AM for ALL preteam, with CIT help. There will be $1 donuts too!

Shout Out

Lake Marion is an all volunteer organization! We would like to recognize one more volunteer this week.

Tung Nguyen has been our grillmaster for many seasons. He has had to sweat it out in scorching temperatures while cooking up all of our tasty food. You’ll find him at the grill again this evening at B Relays! His family has also graciously hosted float building and painting for several years.

We thank Tung for his tireless efforts in support of our team. He will soon receive his limited edition Lake Marion Lasers water bottle as a small token of our appreciation!
