We are wrapping up our season with a lot of fun!

• Tuesday, 7/16 - Raft & Noodle while pool is open from 3-5 PM
• Wednesday, 7/17 - Divisionals Poster Making
• Thursday, 7/18 - Pancake Breakfast and HOME B meet with Flower Hill
• Friday, 7/19 - $1 Donuts at morning practices and final Pasta Dinner
• Saturday, 7/20 - Divisionals at HOME
• Sunday, 7/21 - Preteam Popsicle Meet in AM and Banquet & Awards Night in PM
• Monday, 7/22 - Raft and Splash just for our team from 5-8 PM (they close the pool early for us)

Away Meet versus the Long Branch Water Wizards

It was great to close out the season with a hard fought win yesterday morning! If you didn’t hear, the final score was 410-376! You can find the meet results under Schedule, Meet Results or by clicking here.

A shout out to Makenna Ravas, Tyler Niemiec, and the Najarro Family for winning yesterday morning’s spirit awards!

Thank you to all of the families who volunteered yesterday morning. We especially want to shout out Andres Chavarria, Mike Niemiec, and Mike Page who stepped in at the last minute to fill roles that were vacant.

B Relays at HOME (last Thursday, which seems like eons ago!)

Thank you so much to everyone who helped make our B relay carnival on Thursday a huge success! We had some great races and our families really stepped up to volunteer! As many of you know, it takes a village to make these big meets a success. Our concessions team worked so hard that we set record-breaking sales that evening!

Manchester Farm Mini Meet this morning

It was so great to have so many of our Lasers participate in the Manchester Farm Mini Meet this morning. Every swimmer received an Avengers cap as their swag! Thank you to our CITs Ben, Eli, Makenna, Julia and Ricky who supported our youngest swimmers at this meet. And we have to shout out our preteam coaches, Izzy and Ellie, along with Coach Rachel, for being there!

B Meet Week 5 - Thursday, July 18th at HOME with Flower Hill

Our final B meet is at HOME with Flower Hill on Thursday, July 18. The deadline to sign up for this B meet is 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16th. Don’t delay - sign up today!!!

2. Select Edit under the swimmer’s name.
3. From the drop down, select Attending This Meet.
4. Select the events the swimmer is eligible to swim. If you have any questions about this, please talk to a rep or coach.

Be sure to sign up for a job when you sign up to swim, as we need all hands on deck for our home meets! The theme is Superheroes, so show your Laser spirit with your superhero attire from head to toe! We will be recognizing two swimmers and a Lake Marion family for showing their team spirit on Thursday evening.

Raft and Noodle Time at Lake Marion on Tuesday, July 16th from 3-5 PM

Every Tuesday from 3-5 PM, Lake Marion allows you to bring rafts and noodles into the pool. We hope some of you are available to hang out together, while the pool is open to all, and have some fun!

Divisionals Poster Making on Wednesday, July 17th from 7 - 9 PM

Come join us at The Turners (7511 Oyster Bay Way) to make posters for each of our divisional swimmers. This is an adult only event, and all adults are welcome. Artistic talent is not required! ;)

B Meet on Thursday, July 18th at HOME with Flower Hill

Donuts and Pasta Dinner on Friday, July 19th

Swimmers will have their last chance to enjoy a donut after the AM practice on Friday. Thanks to Beth Turner for being our donut diva this season, with support from Stacey Seager and Suzanne Catucci! We will also have our final pasta dinner that evening and we’d love to see our entire Laser family there. Sign up to bring a dish and help with set up/clean up..

Divisionals at HOME on Saturday, July 20th

Our division championship meet will be at home! The line up is exchanged this evening. Please sign up to volunteer, especially in concessions, so we can have the entire division raving about our awesome concessions and team spirit - and the best food around served with a smile. Thank to Nicole McCabe for being our concessions lead this season!

Popsicle Meet and Banquet & Awards on Sunday, July 21st

We will have our Popsicle Meet on Sunday morning at 9 AM at our pool. Look for an email with sign up details soon!

That evening, we will enjoy our banquet and our awards night. Please refer to the email Karrie sent yesterday, or read all the details here! RSVPs are due Thursday at 8 PM.

Raft and Splash on Monday, July 22nd

Raft and Splash is a Lake Marion tradition! The pool will close early that day so our team can have some fun together from 5 - 8 PM. This celebration is open to swim team families only, and of course includes our preteam. Mark your calendars and get your rafts ready!
