Hello Lake Marion Lasers! The summer swim season will be here before we know it!

Please mark your calendars for our annual ice cream social on Thursday, May 15 from 6 - 7:30 PM.

We are thrilled to announce that Head Coach Nick and Assistant Coach Rachel will be returning this summer!

Even though it’s still chilly outside, we are already planning for our summer of fun. We need your help to make this the best summer it can be!

P.S. - Until we transition our database to the new season, email messages will go out to “graduating” families. Please know that we will miss you this upcoming season. You are welcome on the pool deck anytime you miss the smell of chlorine and the sounds of a summer swim meet!

2025 LMST Volunteers Needed

• Pasta Dinner - for someone who loves food and friends!
  • Coordinate our Friday night potlucks.
  • Purchase and bring paper products and tablecloths.
  • Help the setup and clean up crews.
  • Prepare water and lemonade.
  • Bring team serving pieces and take them home to wash.
• Social Events - for the social butterfly!
  • Plan, advertise and coordinate social events for age groups (10 and under, 11-14, 15-18), as well as CITs
  • Plan, advertise and coordinate family social events
• Fundraising/Dine Outs - for the person who loves to eat out!
  • Schedule and advertise team dine outs
  • Consider and implement other team fundraisers
• Friday Donuts - for someone who is free on Friday mornings and loves to see kids smile!
  • Purchase donuts for Friday morning practices
  • Get petty cash from Treasurer to make change
  • Hand out donuts after the first and second practices
  • Turn in money to Treasurer or treasurer designee
  • Turn in receipts to Treasurer
• Spirit Wear - for the team cheerleader!
  • Coordinate team shirt order and delivery to team members
  • Order and maintain supply of team swim caps throughout the season
  • Determine teen gift for year using budget provided
  • Order teen gift
• Webmaster - for the techie!
  • Maintain the team website with support from the A and B reps
• Bulletin Board - for the artist!
  • Create and maintain our bulletin boards with essential team information
