ALL COMERS

Registration for the All-Comers Swim Meet on Saturday June 7 at North Creek is open. There are 5 individual events (free, back, breast, fly, and individual medley). It is important for your swimmer to swim all strokes possible to get start of season times, even if the stroke is not their best or their favorite.

If your swimmer is new to the team or has never participated in a meet before, they can ask the coaches for a green recommendation sheet at practice on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday!

Please log into your account and make your entries as soon as possible but no later than Wednesday at 9 PM. If your swimmer is not able to swim at All Comers, please log in and note that now. 😊

Click on the green Meet Entry button next to the All-Comers Meet.
Select "Edit" under the swimmer's name.
From the drop down select "Attending This Meet" or "Not Attending This Meet."
Select the events the swimmer wishes to swim.
Click Save.

New this year: You do NOT have to pay for your All Comers entries. We are using team funds to pay MVF this year!

We have a few more jobs open for this meet, so please sign up if you aren’t already signed up to volunteer for our first fun meet! Please let any LMST Board Member know if you have any questions about All Comers.

PRETEAM EVALUATIONS REMINDER

We will have pre-team evaluations this week for all swimmers under 9 who have never participated in a meet unassisted. This will allow our coaching staff to assess swimmers ability and place them in the appropriate group.

Visit this Signup Genius link and select one time slot. Please list the swimmers name (first and last) in the comments when you sign up. June 9 was added to the schedule as slots were filling up fast!

Please note: If your family has not paid yet, you must bring your check to the pool in order to participate in the preteam evaluations.

After evaluations are completed, coaches will make decisions on where each swimmer needs to be and families will be notified by our pre-team reps, Alison Torres and Cindy Fuentes. If you have any questions, please contact Alison [email protected] or Cindy [email protected].

CIT INTEREST

We are excited to offer the opportunity for some of our older swimmers to be CITs (Coaches in Training) this summer! CITs will:

Assist pre-team coaches in conducting morning practices from 9:30 AM - 10:15 AM and afternoon pre-team practices from 5:30 - 6:30 PM. Izzy will direct the CITs for all practices and meets.
Assist at pre-team meets - Manchester Farm and Popsicle Meet - if available.
Follow the pool rules for swim teams that will be issued before the start of the season.
Discuss any and all problems encountered in dealing with swimmers, parents or other coaches with one of the swim committee members directly.
Discuss and/or communicate any absences or conflicts in advance with one of the pre-team reps directly.
Be reliable and punctual at all pre-team practices.
Demonstrate and encourage fair play and good sportsmanship.
Maintain discretion and confidentiality.

CITs must be 12 years of age or older and be able to stand comfortably in the lanes. If you have a swimmer who is interested in applying, please direct them to complete this form by Friday, June 13, 2025. The form will ask for their availability so it may be helpful to know this information prior to clicking on the link!
