Pasta Potluck Reminder

We hope to see everyone at our weekly team building event this evening, our potluck pasta dinner! Please sign up to bring a large dish to share so there is enough food for everyone in attendance. We will begin eating shortly after 6:30 pm, once afternoon practice is over and all the swimmers and coaches arrive. We appreciate anyone who can stay after the pasta dinner to get a head start with deck setup, beginning around 7:30 PM.

Meet Theme & Team Area

Tomorrow morning’s theme is Tropical! Come dressed in your tropical attire to show your team spirit. For those of you new to the team, our team area begins at the right half of the large red umbrella and extends to the shed. Be sure to save at least the left half of the large red umbrella for the visiting team. Please stay in the team area and be ready to report to the clerks of course (Ms. Lisa and Ms. Irma) prior to your events!

We appreciate you bringing your tents to protect our swimmers, as the team tents will be used around the deck to provide shade/cover to the volunteers and the swimmers waiting at the lanes.

Parking

We reserve the lower parking lot for our guests as a courtesy to them, so please walk to the pool or park in the upper lot.

Swimmer Arrival & Meet Program

Be on deck by 7:45 AM at the latest and be ready to get in the water for warm ups which will begin at 8:00 AM sharp. Check in with your assigned coach when you arrive:

• 15-18, 13-14, & 11-12: Coach Nick
• 9-10 & 8 and under: Coach Rachel

Here is the meet program. It is also attached! Print out a family copy and/or review it with your swimmers so they know the events/heats/lanes they are in. Please do not leave the meet on Saturday unless your swimmer has checked out with the coaches (unless you have already let them know you have to leave early).

Volunteering

We are so thankful to the volunteers who have signed up to help at the meet. We could still use more help with second half concessions and we definitely need more help with meet takedown. Our home meets require many people to run successfully. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Concessions

We will have breakfast sandwiches to start off the meet, and then we will switch over to burgers and dogs around half time. Come hungry and support the team! We accept cash, Venmo and CashApp for payment.

Team Lunch

Our team lunch will be at Ay Jalisco at 8401 Snouffer School Road. Please sign up at the table by the guard office before 11 AM so that we can call them to set up for us. Before heading out to enjoy our team lunch, help us clean up the deck so that the pool can open quickly. Many hands make light work! At lunch, the coaching staff will hand out ribbons and we will find out who will be awarded this week’s spirit awards.
