A Meet AWAY vs. West Hillendale

Thanks to everyone for traveling downcounty and sticking it out for a LONG meet! It was close, but we came up short with the final score being 409.50 to 375.50. You can find the meet results under Schedule, Meet Results or by clicking here.

We would like to recognize these swimmers who swam All Star times this morning:

●Sam Arias - breast

●Aiden Chavarria - free, breast and fly

●Eli Hunter - IM, back, breast

●Chase Keeler - IM, back, fly

●Tyler Niemiec - free and breast

●Austin Seager - breast

And congratulations to Chase Keeler who broke two (of his own) team records!!!

●In Event #25 Men 15-18 100 Backstroke, Chase broke his own record of 59.27 with a time of 57.28.

●In Event #47 Men 15-18 50 Butterfly, Chase broke his own record of 27.13 with a time of 26.37.

A shout out to Makenna Ravas, Andrew Niemiec, and the Caldwell Family for winning this meet’s spirit awards! And I would be remiss if I didn’t shout out Coach Nick’s rocket costume and Coach Rachel’s alien costume! Love the team spirit!

Also, thank you to all of the families who volunteered this morning!

Upcoming Events/Reminders:

●Tomorrow we invite the 11-14 year olds to have some WIBIT fun at North Creek from 2 - 4 PM.

●Our Team Picture is Monday at 8 AM. Order by 6 PM tomorrow night. We will take orders on deck that morning but the prices are higher for last minute orders! We will run a modified practice schedule that morning, so please read the details about picture day:

○There will be one combined practice for AM practice groups from 8:30 AM - 9:45 AM.

○Preteam will practice from 8:30 AM - 9:15 AM.

○Our CITs (not rising 6th graders) will practice from 9:15 AM -9:45 AM since they are need to be available to help with preteam.

○Those taking individual pictures will join in practice once they have finished taking their picture.

●Sign up for Wednesday’s HOME B meet with Quail Valley by 9 PM Monday.

●The Team Movie is Tuesday NOW AT 12:45 PM to see How To Train Your Dragon at AMC Rio.

●Pancake Breakfast is Wednesday morning. Please send in a donation to help defray the cost of this Laser tradition.

●The theme for Wednesday’s B Meet is Out of This World! We saw some awesome costumes this morning and can't wait to see what you come up with for our B meet! Warm ups begin at 5 PM.

●Declare for Saturday's HOME A Meet vs.North Creek by 9 PM on Wednesday.  PLEASE DO THIS EVEN IF YOU DON’T THINK YOUR SWIMMER WOULD PARTICIPATE IN AN A MEET.

●Friday is for Donuts (please send in a donation to defray the cost) and Pasta Dinner - our weekly team building potluck.
