Pasta Potluck Reminder

We hope to see everyone at our weekly team building event this evening, our potluck pasta dinner! Please signup to bring a large dish to share so there is enough food for everyone in attendance. We will begin eating shortly after 6:30 pm, once afternoon practice is over and all the swimmers and coaches arrive.

Since we will not have Pasta Dinner next week due to the 4th of July holiday, the team will sign the seniors’ kickboards tonight!

We appreciate anyone who can stay after the pasta dinner to get a head start with deck setup, beginning around 7:45 PM.

Meet Theme & Team Area

Tomorrow morning’s theme is Red, White & Blue! Come dressed in your patriotic attire to show your team spirit. Our team area begins at the right half of the large red umbrella and extends to the shed. Be sure to save at least the left half of the large red umbrella for the visiting team. Please stay in the team area and be ready to report to the clerks of course (Ms. Janice and Ms. Irma) prior to your events!

We appreciate families bringing your tents to protect our swimmers, as the team tents will be used around the deck to provide shade to the volunteers and the swimmers waiting at the lanes.

Parking

We reserve the lower parking lot for our guests as a courtesy to them, so please walk to the pool or park in the upper lot.

Swimmer Arrival

Be on deck by 7:45 AM at the latest and be ready to get in the water for warm ups which will begin at 8:00 AM sharp. Check in with your assigned coach when you arrive:

●15-18, 13-14, & 11-12: Coach Nick

●9-10 & 8 and under: Coach Rachel

Volunteering

We are so thankful to the volunteers who have signed up to help at the meet. Please review and respond to messages you receive from our fabulous volunteer coordinator, Tanya Hunter. Be sure to check in with her tomorrow when you arrive.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Concessions

We will have breakfast sandwiches to start off the meet, and then we will switch over to burgers and dogs around half time. Come hungry and support the team! We accept cash, Venmo and CashApp for payment.

Team Lunch

Our team lunch will be at Panera in Gaithersburg Square (598 N. Frederick Ave). Before heading out to enjoy our team lunch, help us clean up the deck so that the pool can open quickly. Many hands make light work! At lunch, the coaching staff will hand out ribbons and we will find out who will be awarded this meet’s spirit awards.
