Happy Fourth of July Laser Family! It was great to see so many of you at the parade this morning. Three cheers for our float and all of the team members who passed out popcorn along the parade route!

The remainder of this message is all about our final HOME meet tomorrow morning when we will take on our neighbors the Plantations Piranhas and honor our graduating seniors!

Meet Theme & Team Area

Tomorrow morning’s theme is Maryland, at the request of our seniors! Come dressed in your Maryland attire (crabs, Old Bay, red/yellow/black) to show your team spirit.

Our team area begins at the right half of the large red umbrella and extends to the shed. Be sure to save at least the left half of the large red umbrella for the visiting team. Please stay in the team area and be ready to report to the clerks of course (Ms. Angie and Ms. Nicole) prior to your events!

We appreciate families bringing your tents to protect our swimmers, as the team tents will be used around the deck to provide shade to the volunteers and the swimmers waiting at the lanes.

Parking

We reserve the lower parking lot for our guests as a courtesy to them, so please walk to the pool or PARK IN THE UPPER LOT.

Swimmer Arrival

Be on deck by 7:45 AM at the latest and be ready to get in the water for warm ups which will begin at 8:00 AM sharp. Check in with your assigned coach when you arrive:

• 15-18, 13-14, & 11-12: Coach Nick
• 9-10 & 8 and under: Coach Rachel

Volunteering

We are so thankful to the volunteers helping tomorrow, including those of you who do not have a swimmer in the meet! We have 71 positions to fill in order to run a successful home meet. Wow! Please check in with Tanya Hunter when you arrive. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Concessions

We will have breakfast sandwiches to start off the meet, and then we will switch over to burgers and dogs around half time. Come hungry and support the team! We accept cash, Venmo and CashApp for payment.

Senior Recognition

Our halftime break will be a bit longer than normal, as we will honor our 5 seniors tomorrow. Be sure to come down to the pool to check out our amazing Laser send off! We extended our heartfelt congratulations to Brett Page, Catherine Silva, Ellie Mikula, Giana Caldarera, and Izzy Najaro!

Team Lunch

Our team lunch will be in the community center with boxed lunches from Jersey Mike’s - per the seniors request! (Place your order at this link by 6 PM tonight.) You are welcome to bring your own lunch or grab something from the grill before it closes too!

THE TEAM LUNCH WILL NOT START UNTIL THE DECK IS CLEANED UP AND THE POOL CAN OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Many hands make light work! At lunch, the coaching staff will hand out ribbons and we will find out who will be awarded this meet’s spirit awards.
