Coaches Long Course

Congratulations to Chase Keeler and Sam Arias for their amazing swims at the prestigious coaches long course meet on Tuesday. The meet was delayed an hour and a half due to the storms so they got to swim under the lights! Chase placed 5th in the 200 backstroke and 4th in the 100 fly! Sam placed 6th in the 200 breast! Way to go Chase and Sam!

AWAY meet at Clopper Mill Kingsview tomorrow morning

We are excited for our final dual meet tomorrow morning AWAY at Clopper Mill Kingsview. The address of the pool is 13665 Ansel Terrace Germantown, MD 20874 which is about 20-25 minutes from Lake Marion.

Parking is very limited right next to the pool - park in visitor designated spots ONLY! You can park on the neighborhood side streets or across the street at Northwest High School. PLEASE DO NOT park in any neighborhood reserved spots or you will be towed.

The theme is SUPERHEROES! Come dressed to show your team spirit!

Please be at the pool by 8 AM. The swimmers will walk in together as a team, so we will gather near the pool entrance. Be sure to have your swimmer check in with their assigned coach so we know everyone is accounted for.

Ages 11-18: Coach Nick
Ages 10 and under: Coach Rachel

Our warmups will be from 8:20 - 8:40 AM. Officials and timers meetings will start at 8:30 AM. I will send out the meet program once I receive it from Clopper Mill Kingsview.

They will have concessions (snacks, drinks, breakfast & lunch items) and accept CASH or Venmo.

As you enter the pool, our team area is to the immediate right in a large grass area. They will have some lounge chairs in there for us to use. Please bring additional chairs and canopies for shade.

Clopper Mill Kingsview is a dual dive pool so the timers will not move. The clerk of course area is outside the baby pool. Swimmers, be sure to stay in the team area and be ready to report to Ms. Irma and Ms. Eda, our clerking duo tomorrow!

Our team lunch will be at Chipotle in Germantown near the library (19881 Century Blvd, Germantown MD 20874). Once the meet has concluded, head on over and order your food. You may even want to order online on the way. The coaching staff will hand out ribbons and our spirit awards to one boy, one girl, and one family!
