●Saturday, 7/19 - Divisionals AWAY at North Creek

●Sunday, 7/20 - Popsicle Meet in AM and Banquet & Awards Night in PM

●Monday, 7/21 - Raft and Splash from 5-8 PM

●Tuesday, 7/22 - CIT Celebration from 7:15 - 8:45 PM

We would like to recognize these swimmers who swam All Star times this morning:

We also want to congratulate these seniors who swam in their final dual meet this morning: Brett Page, Catherine Silva, Ellie Mikula, and Izzy Najarro. Super senior Chase Keeler also swam in his final dual meet of his MCSL career!

A shout out to Andi Gacuma, Ricky Najarro, and the Ravas Family for winning this meet’s spirit awards! Love the Superhero attire and team spirit! We also can’t thank all of our volunteers enough for braving the blazing sun and humidity.

Details About Upcoming Events:

●The Manchester Farm Mini Meet is tomorrow! The theme is SUPERHEROES! Arrive at 8 AM so that you can be ready for warm ups at 8:15 AM. We can’t wait to cheer on our 26 Lasers signed up for this meet, supported by our CITs and our preteam coaches Ellie & Izzy! Swimmers and CITs, please refer to Thursday’s email with all of the details. Please note that there is an updated program linked here..

●We have two important changes from our original schedule this week.

○The B Meet with Whetstone scheduled for Tuesday July 15th was cancelled. We will hold regular practices Tuesday evening.

○We will hold Lasermania in the AM and PM on Wednesday, June 16. Lasermania is a time of contests and games, with fun relays too! The pool is closed to the public and we do not have a meet scheduled. We have not held an afternoon Lasermania in recent history and are excited to offer this opportunity to our swimmers! Here is the schedule:

■AM Lasermania from 8 - 10 AM

●AM Preteam Lasermania from 10:15 - 10:45 AM, with CIT support

■PM Lasermania from 5 - 7 PM - this is new this year!!!

●PM Preteam Lasermania from 6 - 6:30 PM for both practice groups combined, with CIT support

○Swimmers can come to one or both Lasermania sessions!

●Preteam and developmental swimmers: Be sure to sign up for our very own Popsicle meet by Thursday, July 17 at 9 PM. There will be in-water helpers supporting our preteamers as they participate in kickboard, freestyle and backstroke events. Don’t delay - sign up today! The Popsicle Meet is scheduled for Sunday, July 20 and this meet is FREE!!!

●Parents and Caregivers - Please help make posters for our swimmers who will represent our team at the Divisionals Championship meet. Poster making will be on Thursday, July 17 from 7-9 PM at The Niemiec House. Please sign up via Swimtopia so we can send you the address via email. All materials will be provided!

●July 18 is our final Fantastic Food Friday of the season! Please send in donations to cover the cost of donuts after morning practice and be sure to sign up to contribute to our final Pasta Dinner!

●Sunday, July 20 is our Popsicle Meet at Lake Marion. You must sign up by Thursday at 9 PM so our automation team of Fatima and Monte can build the meet program. Swimmers will warm up at 8:45 AM and events will begin at 9 AM. All swimmers will receive ribbons AND an ice pop at the end of the meet! The theme is PARTY! Look for more details in a future email from Alison and Cindy, our preteam reps.

●Sunday, July 20 is our annual Banquet and Awards Night. Refer to the email sent on Friday with all of the details. You must RSVP by 4PM on WEDNESDAY. It is equally important to RSVP if you are attending or not attending. Thank you!

●Monday, July 21 is our annual Raft & Splash Pool Party from 5 - 8 PM. Bring your rafts etc. as the pool is all ours. Be sure to stop by the Personal Best Prize table to choose your rewards for how many personal best ribbons you earned/how many mini meets you attended!

●Tuesday, July 22 is our first annual CIT Celebration from 7:15 - 8:45 PM in the community center. We thank our CITs for all of their help with preteam this summer! Parents of CITs, please RSVP for them so we know how much food to get!

It’s hard to believe that our summer swim season is coming to a close!
