Hello Laser Families!  This morning's Lasermania looked like a ton of fun!  Let's hope the weather holds for the afternoon!  

This message is all about the Divisionals Championship Meet on Saturday morning, right in our neighborhood at North Creek!

POSTER MAKING: Come to the Niemiec's house on Thursday evening at 7 PM to make posters for our swimmers! All materials will be provided. The event is for adults only. :) Please RSVP so we can send you the address via email.

THEME: The theme is Red and Black! We will award our last spirit awards of the season, so come decked out in Red and Black to show your Lake Marion pride!

ARRIVAL TIME: Meet us in our team area by 6:30 AM and check in with the coaches. Our warm up is in lanes 1 - 4 from 6:45 - 7:05 AM.

TEAM AREA: Our team area is the concrete in front of the grass and baby pool, plus the grassy picnic area to the left of the baby pool. The map only shows the grass but we were told at the meeting that we also have the concrete space in front of team areas 1 & 2, so we will have plenty of space. Bring chairs and tents!

Swimmers need to stay in the team area so that Ms. Angie and Ms. Eda can find them when it’s time for them to swim their fastest!

MEET PROGRAM: Here is the meet program. Feel free to print out a copy of the program or follow along on your phone. Please review it with your swimmer(s) so they know their events/heats/lanes. There are two heats of every event so the meet starts at 8 AM, an hour earlier than dual meets.

SHIRTS: If your family preordered a shirt, I will have your order!

PARKING: Reserved spots are in the back of the lot. Volunteers have received their parking passes. Attendants will be available to assist. Parking along the curb inside the parking lot is allowed once all spaces are filled. See the green lines on the parking map below.

There is limited overflow parking for family members coming later. (There should be plenty of parking when our team arrives as we have the first warm up!)

CONCESSIONS: They will have full concessions, including breakfast, lunch, drinks and snack items, under the pavilion. Please note they are CASH only.

SPECTATORS: They will have seating set up on the clubhouse side of the pool for spectators. There is limited/no shade in that section and spectators are welcome to set up a tent there. They ask that NO spectators or swimmers set up on the far side of the pool (from the slide to the diving board) in order that there is adequate space for clerk of course, coaches, officials, and timers to move freely.

TEAM LUNCH:The team lunch will be at Chick-Fil -A (705 Progress Way, Gaithersburg) after the meet where swimmers will receive their last ribbons/medals of the 2025 summer swim season, as well as the season’s final spirit awards.
