Parade Pride
Our team claimed first prize in the motorized float category at this morning’s parade! We also won a trophy for the best overall entry! GO LASERS!!! A huge thank you to the float committee members who spent hours and hours to create our amazing entry - From Sea to Shining Sea! Check our socials to see Mt. Rushmore, the Washington Monument, The Golden Gate Bridge, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. And thank you to all of the team members who braved the heat to show our Laser Pride!
A Relays at HOME on SUNDAY, JULY 5th
We are hosting this fast-paced meet at our pool SUNDAY morning! Warm ups will begin at 8 AM so please be on deck by 7:45 AM to check in with the coaches and get ready to be in the water at 8 AM sharp. Come decked out in your NEON to show your team spirit - and so we can see you easily! ;)
The line up Coach Dana shared is tentative and can change up until the time the swimmers turn in their relay card. If you have a swimmer coming to the meet not listed in the line up, have them bring their suit in case Coach needs them to swim! Here is the meet program, which shows the lanes our team will swim in during the meet.
This is a very large meet and parking at the pool requires a pass. If you do not have a parking pass, you will need to walk or bike to the pool, or drop off your swimmer(s) and then park at one of the satellite areas - the ballfield, Village Montessori, or CSAAC. Parking attendants will be on hand to ensure those with a pass receive a spot. Thank you so much!
Our team area is behind the diving boards and along the fence up to the guard chair at the well. Please bring shade shelters and chairs for our swimmers! Swimmers, please stay in the team area so that Coach Ellie, Coach Izzy, Coach Ricky and our clerk Ms. Angie, can make sure you are ready to swim at the correct end of the pool!
Even though we are a dual dive pool, some swimmers will have to start IN THE WATER due to MCSL rules for this meet. The coaches and Ms. Angie will share that information with the impacted swimmers!
Come hungry as the Laser Cafe will have some incredible breakfast menu items to choose from. They accept cash, Cash App and Venmo!
Other Important Stuff
- Ribbons and spirit awards will be handed out in between the morning practices!
- Mark your swimmers available or not available for B relays by 9 PM on Sunday. Priority will be given to swimmers who are not swimming on Sunday.
- Sign up for the Manchester Farm Mini Meet by Monday at 9 PM.
- We are hoping that Eli Hunter and Sam Arias will get to swim at the prestigious MCSL Long Course meet on Tuesday evening! They are both currently first alternates.
Happy 250th Birthday to the United States of America! We can’t wait for Sunday Funday!
Daria and Angie
