All Stars

Congratulations to our swimmers who competed in All Star weekend!

We had 5 relays representing Lake Marion on Saturday at All Star Relays. Great job Lasers!

• Event 3 Mixed 15-18 Free: Henry Giffin, Austin Seager, Sam Arias, and Elliot Redman came in 4th place.
• Event 12 Boys 8 & Under Medley: Jack Lewis, Xander Tobiassen, Emmett Tobiassen, and Benny Catucci came in 8th place.
• Event 16 Mixed 15-18 Medley: Henry Giffin, Austin Seager, Sam Arias, and Elliot Redman came in 4th place.
• Event 17 Boys 11-12 Medley: Max Valencia, Kien Nguyen, Monty Ballou, and Andrew Niemiec came in 7th place.
• Event 18 Girls 11-12 Medley: Alice Kuminov, Maddie Arias, Kyla Clagett, and Alara Ballou came in 3rd place.

Thanks to the Event 8 Men’s Open Medley of Austin Seager, Henry Giffin, Eli Hunter and Ben Page for being ready to swim as an alternate in their event.

We had 3 swimmers at Individual All Stars on Sunday!

• Sam Arias placed 6th in IM and 5th in breaststroke
• Eli Hunter placed 15th in breaststroke and 15th in fly
• Austin Seager placed 14th in breaststroke

We are so proud of our all star swimmers for their outstanding achievements this season!

Ribbons/Plates/Teen Gifts

We have many families who have unclaimed ribbons, paper plate awards, and/or teen gifts from this season. This includes All Star Relay ribbons and medals! Pick up your items from the boxes at 20525 Beaver Ridge Road between 8:30 AM to 7 PM by Saturday, August 8th. Please leave your family folder when you take your items.

Swim Opportunities

Some of our families may want to continue the fun of swimming beyond the summer! Here is a link to the MCSL webpage that lists all of the MCSL sponsors, including swimming options. You can find lessons as well as year round competitive swim teams. We have a number of families that are current or former participants of most of these opportunities. If you find a program of interest and have questions, please reach out and we will put you in contact with other families that may be able to answer questions from a parent perspective.

Next Season

We already have a draft calendar for next summer! Our first day of regular practices will be Tuesday, June 1st and our first day of preteam practice is scheduled for Monday, June 14th. We will wrap up the season with All Star weekend on July 31st and August 1st. Mark your calendars now so you can be a part of the fun all season long!
