How do I sign my swimmer up to swim in a B meet?
Swimmers are generally allowed to swim as many events as they want at B meets, as long as they are legal in that event and they did not swim that event in the most recent A meet, except for swimmers who placed 7th-12th in freestyle at the previous A meet. Those swimmers are allowed to swim freestyle again in a B meet. Swimmers who received a disqualification at the previous A meet are also allowed to swim that stroke again.

The deadline to sign up to swim events at a B meet is 9:00 PM on Monday prior to that B meet. Here’s how:
Log into your SwimTopia account via our website or use the SwimTopia mobile app. Once logged in, click on Schedule and then All Meets and Events, or simply visit https://lakemarionlasers.swimtopia.com/swim_meets
- Click on MEET ENTRY next to the specific B meet you wish to sign up for (i.e. Week 1B at HOME vs. Plantations).
- Select Edit next to the swimmer’s name.
- From the drop down, select Attending This Meet.
- Unlike A meets, you need to select each event the swimmer would like to swim. (Please check with our coaches if your swimmer wants try an event for the first time, prior to signing up. All first-time entries must be approved by a coach.)
- Click Save.
While still on the website/mobile app, be sure to sign up for volunteer jobs by clicking JOB SIGNUP!
