MVF Independence Day Parade

We are excited to taking part in the community parade again this year! This event is for the whole team, including pre team. The theme this year is ‘May the Fourth Be With You’, so come dressed in your best Star Wars costumes or show your Lake Marion spirit. Each year MVF asks each swim team to provide volunteers to help them with parade operations as a way of giving back to the community. This year we are tasked with registering parade entries. This is where we need your help; volunteers will be asked to assist with parade registration which starts at 9:00am, writing ribbons at the conclusion of the judging – the judging will start at 9:30am. We ask that the volunteers report to either Amy Potocko or Duncan Mullis no later than 8:45am at the registration table. SSL hours are available. Please sign up under Job SignUp on the schedule. |

Parents Night Out

Bring your lawn chairs and join us for an evening out, look for the red team canopies. You may bring your own non-alcoholic drinks and food from home, just not from another restaurant establishment. Coolers, however, are NOT permitted. They do have a food menu to include pizzas, soft pretzels and charcuterie bags, among other items you can order.
