Potluck Pasta Dinner - Week 4

Please join us for our weekly potluck pasta dinner. We will begin eating at 6:30pm once practice is over. We will let the youngest swimmers eat first. We ask that each family bring a dish with enough food to feed their family and a little more to share. You can sign up to bring a dish under Job Signup. |

MVF July 4th Parade
Apple Ridge Road

Come and celebrate the holiday with the team as we march in the annual parade. We will build a float for the parade, dress up and cheer as we walk the parade route. There will be NO PRACTICE today! 1. Marching with the team on Tuesday, July 4th Meet us at the start of the parade area (Apple Ridge RD and Montgomery Village Ave) by 9:30 AM on July 4th! More info can be found on the MVF website by clicking HERE. Build in extra time to find parking at North Creek pool lot and walk to the parade area (Apple Ridge will close to traffic at 9:30 AM). Parade starts at 10 AM. Be sure to stay for the celebration at Apple Ridge! It starts with some great live music! During a short break, the MVF Board President will officially open the event and announce parade contest winners (fingers crossed!). At the event there will be lots of fun activities for the Montgomery Village community, including: a concert; free games, rides, petting zoo and pony rides; and festival food. Come dressed in your best Olympic Team USA uniforms! That can be red, white, and blue (patriotic clothing) or dress like your favorite summer Olympic sport - swimming is an OBVIOUS choice but so is basketball, baseball/softball, gymnastics, wrestling, etc. If you don’t have any of that, just come in your Lake Marion team spirit-wear and have fun with the team during the parade. |

Pancake Breakfast

Our weekly pancake breakfast is held on mornings of our B Meets. All swimmers will be served pancakes, bacon, fresh fruit and juice AFTER they finish practice. This event is run solely on donations, so your weekly contribute is greatly appreciated! |

We invite all our 10 and under swimmers to join us for some adventure at the Peggy Mark Pool at Apple Ridge. You can have fun in the 'lazy river', going down the slides, playing in the spray ground and enjoy the dumping buckets and pipe falls. More details to come! |
