What’s the difference between an A meet and a B meet?

A meets are competitive scoring events for the team's fastest swimmers as decided by the head coach, which determines our division standing within the Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL).
B meets are developmental, unscored "scrimmages" designed to give every swimmer a chance to compete, improve and potentially "qualify" for an A meet. All are welcome and highly encouraged to participate in B meets throughout the season.
