AWAY meet at Twin Farms tomorrow morning

We are excited for our second A meet tomorrow morning AWAY at Twin Farms. The address of the pool is 1200 Fairland Road, Silver Spring, MD 20904 and it is about 30 minutes away from Lake Marion. Their team will park in the neighborhood so we can park in their lot. The theme is TIE DYE! Come dressed to show your team spirit!

Please arrive by 8:00 AM to allow enough time to park and for swimmers to check in with their coaches:

• 12 and under: Coach Dana
• 13 and up: Coach Ellie

Essential Meet Details

• Our warm-ups will be from 8:25 - 8:45 AM.
  • Starter meets with referee at 8:25 AM
  • Stroke and turn briefing at 8:30 AM
  • Briefing for all timers (first and second half) at 8:45 AM
• The team area for Lake Marion will be on the left side of the hill. It will eventually be sunny there, so please bring tents.
• Clerks of Course will be located beside the slide at the end of the well (deep end). Automation, awards, and the announcer will be located directly in front of the club house.
• The Tiger Cafe will be set up under the Pavilion. They have breakfast and lunch, and Tiger Fries. They accept cash, venmo, zelle, and paypal.
• I will send out the meet program once I receive it from Twin Farms.

We hope the team will stay for the entire meet to cheer on our second half swimmers as well as the second half relays (Open Medley and 14 & under Freestyle). Do not leave the meet unless your swimmer has checked out with Coach Dana or Coach Ellie (unless you have already let them know you have to leave early) so we can fill both of our lanes for the very exciting and very important ending relays.

Our team lunch will be at the Cafe Rio in Olney (3140 Olney Sandy Spring Rd, Olney 20832). Once the meet has concluded, head on over and order your food. You may even want to order online on the way. The coaching staff will hand out ribbons and our spirit awards to one boy, one girl, and one family!

• On Sunday, we invite the 11-14 year olds - and their dads - to have some WIBIT fun at North Creek from 2 - 4 PM.
