A Meet versus North Creek

We were so excited to pull out a BIG WIN this morning. The final score was 404.50 for Lake Marion and 366.5 for North Creek. GO LASERS!! You can find the meet results under Schedule, Meet Results or by clicking here.

We would like to recognize the following swimmers who swam All Star times this morning:

• Maddie Arias - breast
• Sam Arias - IM, breast and fly
• Eli Hunter - IM, back, breast, and fly - all of the events he swam this morning!

• Austin Seager - IM and breast

A shout out to Summer Vargas, Ian Nguyen, and The Murad Family for winning the spirit awards! Thank you everyone who filled an essential role this morning, including our clerks who did not originally sign up for that job, and our decades DJ. Our team is powered by volunteers!

Meet ribbons were handed out at the team lunch after the meet. If your swimmer needs any of their ribbons from any other meets, they are in the “family boxes” that we bring out at practices.

Informal Team Gatherings

Join your fellow Lasers at two informal team gatherings! 10 and unders and their families are invited to meet up at Peggy Mark Pool from 12-2 PM on Sunday. We will gather at Lake Marion from 3-5 PM during their raft and noodle time that is open to the public on Monday.

Home B Meet on TUESDAY, June 30 with North Creek, Whetstone and Upper County

Sign up for our HOME B meet by tomorrow, Sunday at 9 PM. Be sure to check the eligibility rules. Alison and Cindy, our B reps, will remove swimmers from events that they are not allowed to enter. We know our swimmers will look forward to pancake breakfast on Tuesday morning!

Team and Individual Pictures on Wednesday Morning

Preorder your team and individual pictures by Tuesday, June 30 at 9 PM. Click here for all of the details. The price goes up if you order on deck that morning!

Please note this modified practice schedule for all morning swimmers on Wednesday morning:

• Combined AM Groups: 8:30 AM – 9:45 AM
• Pre-Team: 8:30 AM – 9:15 AM
• CITs: 9:15 AM – 9:45 AM (to assist with Pre-Team)

Family Game Night Wednesday Evening from 7:30 - 8:45 PM

Join us for our second annual Family Game Night from 7:30 to 8:45 PM. Bring your favorite games to share! Dessert will be served so be sure to RSVP by Tuesday at 9 PM so we can have enough sweet treats for all!

Week 4A on THURSDAY July 2 (AWAY at New Mark Commons) and A Relays on SUNDAY July 5 (at HOME)

Availability: Please declare your swimmer’s availability for both of these meets by Tuesday, June 30, at 9 PM. (This is required even if your swimmer cannot attend, unless your swimmer is on preteam). The points the team earns at these meets determines standing in the division!
