B meet tonight!!- Program and Reminders
Good afternoon Lasers!
REMINDER: there will be NO afternoon practices (both swim team and pre-team) today 6/30 due to our B meet!
This evening we have our second B meet of the season, HOME vs Whetstone! Please take a moment to review the attached program to talk to your child about what events they are swimming.
Please note: if you signed your swimmer up for an event they swam in Saturday’s A meet and they placed 1-6th, they were removed from those events. Please refer to the B meet entry requirements here.
IT’S IMPERATIVE YOUR SWIMMER STAYS IN THE TEAM AREA so the clerks and coaches can find them and get them to their race on time.
Swimmers are to report to the pool by no later than 4:45pm to check in with the coaches. Please remember to walk/bike to the pool if possible or park in the upper lot only.
LOOKING AHEAD:
- Everyone must DECLARE their availability for the following meets by TONIGHT at 9pm:
- 4A meet on THURSDAY 7/2, AWAY at New Mark Commons (due to the 4th of July holiday)
- A relays (HOME on 7/5)- this meet takes extra time for the coaches to plan the line up, so please declare now!- Help is still needed including parking attendants, meet set up and take down! Sign up for your volunteer points today!
- TEAM PICTURE DAY TOMORROW for ALL pre-team and swim team swimmers, Wednesday 7/1at 8am:
- Remember to wear your new 2026 LM team shirt!! If you do not have one, please wear a plain white shirt. No other logos please.
- Preorder your team and individual pictures by TONIGHT, June 30 at 9 PM.

- Modified practice schedule for all morning swimmers on Wednesday morning:
- Combined AM Groups: 8:30 AM – 9:45 AM
- Pre-Team: 8:30 AM – 9:15 AM
- CITs: 9:15 AM – 9:45 AM (to assist with Pre-Team)
- FAMILY GAME NIGHT TOMORROW, Wednesday 7/1 from 7:30-8:45 PM in the LM Community Center. Please RSVP so we have enough treats for everyone.
- EXPECTED EXTREME TEMPERATURES: The forecast is calling for temperatures over 100 degrees later this week, with even higher heat indexes. It is imperative that every swimmer takes the necessary action to stay hydrated NOW, before the heat arrives!
- Every swimmer must bring a water bottle to practice and to the meets.
- Avoid extended periods of time in direct sunlight.
- Avoid over exertion- rest when you can
- Seek out shade if you are outside and at the meets.
**As always, if you are concerned about the forecast, please use your own discretion and do what is best for your swimmer. **
